Sponsor Me

When I had the idea to cycle Land's End to John O'Groats, a year ago, I wasn't going to do it to raise money. I'm doing it primarily for me, after all.

So many people asked me about fundraising when I told them about it, though, that I figured I might as well use the trip to raise money for a charity I believe in.

I'm using Sustrans' National Cycle Network for my route. I'm also a regular volunteer with my local Sustrans Bike-It Officer. It figures to raise money for Sustrans, then.

I've asked friends and family not to buy me anything for my birthday - I have everything I need in life and don't desire anything I can't get for myself. Those that feel bad about not getting me anything can sponsor me through the JustGiving page I've set up.

I'm sure I'll also be motivated to keep going when it gets tough (I KNOW it will get tough at certain points, and I'll want to give up) if people have sponsored me to do this crazy thing.
